Its supposed to be 29 degrees Celsius in Melbourne today, but I'm still feeling the cold chill of Winter in the air, its just around the corner. Yesterday I drove to and from work in a thick frost. I need some warm-spiration!
I feel warmer already!!!!! Photos from They All Hate Us

Macarons!
I have not been to this patisserie but I was quite taken with the photos given my recent obsession with Macarons (it started in Paris, and continued with Gossip Girl since Blair ate macarons to stop herself from sleeping with Chuck).
The 'salted caramel' comes highly recommended by one of my foodie friends. Macarons are mostly $2.50 each.
La Bell Miette has two small patisseries:
30 Hardware Lane, Melbourne 3000
432 Church Street, Richmond 3121
Tel: (03) 9024 4528
Email: info@labellemiette.com.au

Megan Hess is a Melbourne-based fashion illustrator who went to my University (Griffith) in QLD and studied graphic design! I have since seen her work on the cover of Candace Bushnell novels, and more recently saw that she was commissioned by Chadstone for an illustration that shoppers can collage to create there own fashion drawing masterpiece! The Coveteur
I just finished watching an episode of ABC1's 'The Slap', based on a book by Christos Tsiolkos. I've heard its a great book but I haven't read it myself. What caught my eye was the awesome interiors of the Melbourne townhouses/ houses/ apartments that were so cozy yet trendy. Reminds me a bit of 'Secret Life of Us' also. As I'll be moving to Melbourne soon I've very excited about the prospect of setting up a place without that 'student share accommodation' feel. Here are some interiors I've been coveting from an awesome website - http://thecoveteur.com/ - among other places.
