Macarons!

I have not been to this patisserie but I was quite taken with the photos given my recent obsession with Macarons (it started in Paris, and continued with Gossip Girl since Blair ate macarons to stop herself from sleeping with Chuck).

The 'salted caramel' comes highly recommended by one of my foodie friends. Macarons are mostly $2.50 each.

Megan Hess: Fashion Illustrator

Megan Hess is a Melbourne-based fashion illustrator who went to my University (Griffith) in QLD and studied graphic design! I have since seen her work on the cover of Candace Bushnell novels, and more recently saw that she was commissioned by Chadstone for an illustration that shoppers can collage to create there own fashion drawing masterpiece! Oscars 2012 Red Carpet Gowns

Here are my favourites, I was really loving the highly structured dresses that created interesting lines. I'm a little over the 'mermaid' dresses with fitted body and fishtail skirt that is omnipresent at redcarpet events.
